How much does a new WPBakery website cost?
Every project is different and we quote on a set of specific requirements.
Here are some ballpark figures:
- A simple five page website featuring a blog and contact form will cost around USD $1,500
- Larger websites featuring more content, two or three custom post types, and a form integrated with a CRM start from around USD $3,500
- Ecommerce sites start from about USD $5,000
Bear in mind that you will get a custom theme based on a custom design that we will have developed with your input. Much of the cost isn’t the actual build, which also takes into account using AI to develop faster. You’re paying for strategy and creativity, which is what moves the needle.

Questions about developing new WPBakery websites
Absolutely. That’s what most people have done over the years, finding themes in marketplaces such as ThemeForest or Template Monster.
It’s the most cost-effective approach – you’re not going to pay more than USD $99 for a theme, which you can then update to match your brand style.
However, your website may not reflect your brand’s look and feel and look like many other ones.
Also, the site structure – sections and pages types – are pre-defined, so if you want anything different you will need to custom develop it.
WPBakery is a different product. Unlike most other page builders, it wasn’t conceived as a tool to design and build new websites.
WPBakery is additional functionality to make it easy for non-technical people to create and edit pages using a visual drag and drop editor. For this specific task, it’s a much better option than Elementor, Bricks, and many other page builders, that are too technical for many website owners and managers.
Many people don’t like the block editor‘s UI and experience.
It works well for blog posts or long-form content and/or simple layouts, but it’s not very intuitive if you want to create pages with multi-column layout.
Also, you can use the block editor with WPBakery – it’s one of the content elements you can use on any page.
Or you can decide to edit specific types of content – eg. blog posts – using it, leaving WPBakery’s drag and drop UI for other page types.
We’re building websites that feature WPBakery’s drag and drop editing experience, so necessarily opting for WordPress as the underlying technology.
It’s not hard to vibe code an entire website that also features a drag and drop UI to be able to easily create and edit pages, but it’s not something you are going to build in a day or two. The minute you do, you’re effectively a software house with code to maintain. You need to make sure it’s secure too.
